If you are unable to access your Dell laptop because you have forgotten the password, you should search for it if you have a Windows Setup DVD that corresponds to it. Do not be alarmed; we are not going to request that you reinstall the system using the setup CD. Please refer to the procedures below in order to unlock the password on your Dell laptop using the setup CD.
Put the Setup CD into your Dell laptop to begin the installation process.
The instructions are the same whether you’re using a Dell laptop running Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1, or Windows 10. Simply proceed in the order shown below.
c:
cd windows\system32
ren magnify.exe magnify1.exe
ren cmd.exe magnify.exe
You will find the Command Prompt window spring up. Try not to be astonished about this, since you have supplanted the “magnify.exe” with the “cmd.exe” with the order above.
“coco” is the client account name of mine, make sure to change it to yours.
ren magnify.exe cmd.exe
ren magnify1.exe magnify.exe
