It would seem that just about every year, when Samsung introduces a new model of television, the company makes the decision to relocate the button that controls the power.
If you’re having trouble locating the button that turns off your Samsung TV, you’re not the only one having trouble with it. It may be quite a conundrum at times!
The majority of Samsung televisions have the power button located 1) at the centre of the bottom of the television. In the event that it is not there, look beneath the right-hand side of the TV’s front panel. 3) the left or right bezel on the front of the television (touch control) 4) The right side of the rear of the television.
There is a button on the back of every Samsung TV that allows the user to manually adjust the volume; all that has to be done is locate the button.
The power button for most Samsung televisions may be found just beneath the middle of the screen.
The actual power button could be located in a little different spot on your device depending on the model you have, but you’ll be able to find it here no matter what.
Simply move your hand below and around in that area until you find it.
The positioning of this power button is very inconvenient! It’s almost as if Samsung was trying to conceal something from us all along.
You should be able to find the receiver of your Samsung TV by feeling around the front right edge of the bottom of the device (this is what your remote interacts with).
There is a very little power button located just behind that receiver. It is simple to overlook. To switch the TV on and off, you just only push the surrounding area.
A good number of Samsung TVs really come equipped with touch controls for the power button, as well as for adjusting the volume, changing the channel, and other features.
The front right bezel of the television is often where one may find these touch-sensitive power buttons. It is easy to overlook, but if you look carefully, you will be able to locate it.
If you give the area where the label for the power button is located a light touch, your TV should turn on.
Be aware that earlier Samsungs often do not have this touch button located on the front left bezel; thus, you should also check that location.
You will often need to touch the screen and then wait a split second for the TV to respond, so be sure to have some patience on hand.
If you looked far and low but were unable to locate the power button on your Samsung TV, I’m willing to guess that it’s located on the rear of the television set.
Another button for the power supply that is awkwardly positioned by Samsung.
You will need to move the TV away from the wall just a little bit and look at the rear right side of your television. There need to be a little button for the power supply there.
If you still can’t make out what it is, you should probably take a flashlight. If you examine the rear right side and there is nothing there, you should also check the back left side just to be sure.
If you still haven’t discovered it, I would check it out just to be sure since I am not aware of any versions that have the same same positioning for the power button (on the left side of the device’s back).
If you are still having difficulties locating the power button on your Samsung TV, you may try looking for the user manual that corresponds to your specific model number and the year it was manufactured.
On the back of your TV, where the model number is located, you should be able to find the precise number.
In the instruction manual, you will probably discover a schematic that explains what each button on your TV does and where it is located.
There is a button on every Samsung TV that is referred to as the TV control button. Using this button, you may alter the volume as well as the source input. The vast majority of TV models will also provide you access to the Smart Hub, as well as the Menu and Settings. Even while the Samsung TV may be turned on without a remote, you will only have access to a subset of its features.
Check to see whether there is a visible touch-activated power button on your TV. It is often located in the centre of the panel that is located below the screen of your TV. Check the top, left, and right sides of your television, as well as the sides, since some televisions place the power buttons on those sides. It could be distinguished based on its size, colour, label, or even a power symbol like the one that is seen above.
You will need to do a factory reset on your Samsung TV if it would not turn on. Turn off your television and wait exactly one minute after turning it off. While the television is disconnected, press and hold the power button for a period of half a minute. After the minute and a half has passed, re-plug in your Samsung TV, and it should begin functioning normally.
It would seem that Samsung takes great pleasure in disguising the power button on its televisions; its placement changes often (almost annually).
Don’t give up looking for it even if you’re having a hard time finding it. Every Samsung television has a button that allows for manual control of the power. Simply put in the effort to locate it!
