When playing a game in a language that is not your native tongue, it can be challenging and can lead to misunderstandings that can change the course of the game. The language selections for League of Legends are typically restricted to the region’s dominant languages, however the game is offered in a number of different areas around the world. If you are not currently connected to the Korean server, the new client will not permit you to change the language of your game to one of the supported languages, such as Korean.
There is, however, a workaround around the constraints imposed by the client that will allow you to play your game of choice in a number of other languages. As a new approach to enjoy playing the game, we will explain how to implement these improvements later on in this article.

The year 2020 was a year of transition for League of Legends, and one of the most significant steps towards modernity has been the broad release of the old League client and the upgrades that have been made to it. The updated client provides more levels of customization as well as improved responsiveness.
However, depending on the server that your account is on, the designers have restricted the language-changing possibilities to only a select few languages. These languages can’t be changed.
The following steps need to be taken in order for you to switch the language of your game to one of the alternatives that are available in your region:
Launch the League client without entering your credentials. In the event that you are automatically signed in, you will be required to log out of the game before you may resume the client.
Click the “Settings” button in the lower-right hand corner of the screen (it looks like a gear).
Find “Server Transfer.”
Choose the region you are interested in.
It is important to keep in mind that the ability to switch regions is not always available owing to seasonal resets and other technological limitations.
Changing the game’s language to one that is not supported in the region is considered to be a violation of the terms of usage for RIOT and can be perceived as a way to manipulate the game files to your advantage, which is a violation of the terms of use. Altering the game’s language, on the other hand, is a relatively insignificant adjustment that has no bearing on how the game is played and is not likely to land you in trouble.
If you want to select a language that is not supported by the server for your game, you will have to make some adjustments on your personal computer. Changing the way the client works is the method that makes changing the language the easiest:
Activate the directory in which League of Legends was installed. The installation programme will point it in the direction of C:/Riot Games/League of Legends by default. If you have the game installed on a different drive, you should navigate to that drive instead.
Use the right mouse button to select the “LeagueClient” application (ends in .exe)
