How To Turn Off Safe Search Chromebook?

SafeSearch is an option inside Google Search that filters out any results that could include inappropriate material. In order to access such material, you will first need to disable the SafeSearch feature on your browser. On both your computer and your mobile device, we will demonstrate how to complete the task.

You need simply turn off SafeSearch on one of the devices on which you are logged in to Google. This change will be applied to all of your Google devices at once.

Turn Off SafeSearch on Google Search on Desktop

Open a web browser on your computer and go to Google Search in order to deactivate the SafeSearch filter used by Google Search. This may be done on a computer running Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, or a Chromebook.

  • Click the “Settings” link located in the far right-hand corner of the Google homepage.

To disable SafeSearch on your iOS device (iPhone, iPad, or Android phone), open the web browser on your device, and then go to the Google site.

  • Tap the “Settings” button at the very bottom of the Google homepage.
  • When the drop-down option appears, choose “Search Settings.”
  • Enabling the “Show Explicit Results” option may be done on the “Search Settings” page, which is located in the “SafeSearch Filters” section.
  • Keep scrolling down the page, and when you get to the bottom, click the “Save” button.
  • You are going to see a popup that says “Your Preferences Have Been Saved.” When prompted, tap the “OK” button.
